We just moved a family member into this apartment. We weren’t expecting the Taj Mahal but were unbelievably disappointed in how filthy the apartment was. Everything was covered in grime and dirt from the baseboards to the ceiling and it was not furnished. For the price I would not recommend The Commons.

When you choose to move in, you have to think about whether you are rich or not.The environment here is the worst and the price is very expensive. The attitude of the staff is very poor. Many students have lost Stuffs, and they often break into your room.If a stranger enters your room and wakes you up behind you, you don't have to think about it, it's their staff. It's terrible.

***Worst place I have ever lived! I am currently a student housing Property Manager so if that means anything then this review should give you some insight on this place. To start off, they tried putting me into collections for $150 for what they considered "cleaning charges," not to mention the $30 toilet cleaning charge. And because I do this for a living, when I moved out my apartment was spotless (no joke). This was back in 2014 and I'm still dealing with this place. I NEVER write reviews... but this one should be reviewed by all parents and students who want to live here.
So here are some helpful tips before moving in this place:
1.) ALWAYS make a copy of your Move-In Condition Form.
2.) ALWAYS take pictures of any damage prior to moving in...And I mean EVERYTHING (They charged me $5 for a light bulb replacement). Make sure the pictures are time stamped
3.) Good Luck if they change management. They will never honor what they tell you.
Lastly, I currently have lawyers overlooking these charges so it goes to show you how much of a hassle this place has been. That was 3 years ago....DON'T LIVE HERE!

Oxford Commons has many nice amenities for the residence including a game room, tanning facilities, and an exercise room, though some of the pieces of equipment need some service. The staff is very helpful when paying rent or submitting a maintenance request but sometimes do not inform you if there is a package delivered for your unit that you need to pick up. The walls are somewhat thin and neighbors and their television shows can be heard when your room backs up to theirs.

The only complaint I have is because I don't have a car, so I have to rely on the buses to get anywhere. I LOVE my apartment though. And I love the roommates that were chosen for me. Over the last year, they have become my best friends.
If you're looking for an inexpensive place to live (all utilities included# with everything you need PLUS great service #Gary is the best), you should come here. If I wasn't graduating, I'd continue my lease!
Thanks to everyone here, you guys have MADE my... college living experience!
